The Art of Lying

"Gypsies lie. They lie a lot -- more often and more inventively than other people. Not to each other, but to gadje (others). Still, malice is not intended. On the whole, lying is a cheerful affair. Embellishments are intended to give pleasure. People long to tell you what they imagine you want to hear. They want to amuse you; the want to amuse themselves; they want to show you a good time. This is beyond hospitality. This is art."

We all tell stories.  Stories of travel, love, and sorrow can change with memories.  Stories change with time and experience.  Some fused together, some separated by decades.

How do you make your story one worth telling?
